A community darkroom studio that provides film enthusiasts access to a safe, well-sustained darkroom, fosters education in film processing and darkroom techniques, facilitates mentorships, and provides outreach to the community through shows and exhibits.
A year long documentary portrait project about women and their relationships with their bodies. As a whole, The Women We Are aimed to connect its viewers with its models in a unifying experience that dissolves stigma, and reminds us, all that we are humans with hearts, no matter our body, size or shape.
A storytelling project celebrating decades of refugee resettlement in mid-Michigan. These are stories about families who have fled violence and are now an integral part of the Lansing region adding to the diverse quilt that makes us such a unique, welcoming community.
Soulfire is a community awareness project that shares the diversity of survivor experiences through artistic expression. Paired in artist and survivor teams, the two create a visual story of healing. The final pieces are auctioned off to raise funds to support trauma-sensitive programs and counseling.
